LIL CRUSH

Lil Crush
The Baby Goat. Afro-Colombian Artist. Minneapolis-born, Colombia-raised. Multidisciplinary Visionary.

Matthew Beachy, professionally known as Lil Crush, is a genre-defying Afro-Colombian artist, producer, and creative powerhouse. Born in Minneapolis and raised back and forth between Colombia and the U.S., Crush embodies the spirit of cultural fusion—drawing from his dual heritage to build an artistic world that’s as emotional as it is electrifying.
A shapeshifter by nature, Beachy wears many masks—and every one of them speaks truth. As Lil Crush, The Baby Goat, he blends hip hop, R&B, alt-country, and experimental pop into heartfelt anthems that balance vulnerability with confidence, raw emotion with melodic mastery. His music cuts deep while soaring high, offering an unfiltered look into his soul—a musical journey that is as much about personal growth as it is about bold expression.
As The Latin Prince, he dives deep into his roots, channeling the vibrant sounds of Reggaeton, Bachata, Cumbia, Corridos, and Vallenato—honoring his Afro-Latin lineage while pushing Latin music into bold new territory. It’s not just homage—it’s evolution. He doesn’t replicate tradition; he reimagines it with fearless creativity, building bridges between generations and genres.

Beyond the mic, he is a multi-instrumentalist, model, director, videographer, and editor—a true multidisciplinary artist who takes full creative control of his vision. Under his given name, Beachy, he produces both his solo work and the most intricate sonic experiments of THR333 (The Hardship Reveal 333), the Minneapolis-based band he founded in 2024. With THR333, he melds experimental rock with boundary-pushing production to create a sound that defies categorization and resonates deeply.Crush first broke into the spotlight with his breakout single “Suni Lee”—an Olympic anthem dedicated to fellow Minnesotan gymnast Suni Lee. The song’s uplifting message and undeniable energy became a cultural moment, inspiring a new generation to chase greatness and embrace their inner Baby Goat. This anthem resonated far beyond Minnesota, becoming a rallying cry for young people everywhere striving to be their best selves—a true celebration of what it means to be a Baby Goat. From 2019 to 2023, Crush was signed to the Minneapolis hip hop powerhouse WEON Records, where he honed his craft and built vital creative partnerships. This foundation paved the way for him to launch his own creative label and brand, Planet Crush, in 2021. By 2025, the label had expanded globally, signing and developing over five artists, bands, and producers—including Lil Crush himself—across multiple genres. All united under Crush’s fearless artistic ethos and based in Minnesota, Planet Crush is more than a label—it’s a thriving artistic ecosystem. For Lil Crush, music isn’t just sound—it’s a multidimensional experience, a platform for identity, evolution, and emotional truth. He refuses to be boxed in by any genre or label. He doesn’t call himself a rapper. He calls himself an artist—and he means it.Whether performing solo or lighting up stages with THR333, Lil Crush is more than a musician. He’s a movement. This isn’t just music. It’s identity. It’s heart. It’s evolution.
